Earlier this year, the existing audio and visual systems at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle had reached it’s end-of-life. We put a modern event production system into place which included audio, lighting and HD video projection.

The space itself presented some challenges for audio. The solution was a centre hang of Kling and Freitags Sequenza 5 compact line array, flanked by a pair of K&F Line 212 long throw point source speakers. The two sources work together very well and are supported by other strategically placed Kling and Freitag speakers.

For lighting we reorganized the existing conventional lighting with truss systems and added intelligent stage lighting to allow them to accommodate concerts, church services, talks and special stage presentations. We used the Jands Vista S3 control console to replace an aging NSI conventional console. The Vista was chosen due to it’s ease of integration and short learning curve.

Video projection was handled by 3 matched 16:9 screens and Christie Digital DHD6000 1080p projectors. A Vaddio HD remote PTZ camera system was installed to allow for a single operator to handle 3 cameras and switching. The Roland VR50HD video switcher, allows for true HD on all outputs, live streaming and video capture.
