Venue Operations Coordinator - HCC
The Venue Operations Coordinator is the primary Soundbox technician for the Hamilton Convention Centre, responsible for coordinating and delivering successful events from planning through execution. This hybrid role combines hands-on event production—including setup, operation, troubleshooting, and teardown of audio-visual systems—with administrative responsibilities such as reviewing event quotes, coordinating staffing, managing venue inventory, and ensuring all events are properly equipped and executed. The ideal candidate is organized, technically skilled, customer-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional event experiences.
Jr. Account Manager - Product Sales & Installation
The Junior Account Manager is responsible for driving sales of both new products and Soundbox’s used rental inventory while supporting the Sales Director with larger sales opportunities and day-to-day sales operations. This role manages the sales process from lead generation and quotations to customer service, equipment marketing, and order coordination, while building strong client relationships and maximizing the value of used inventory. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, customer-focused, and passionate about professional event technology and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Head of Video - Production & Rentals
The Head of Video Production & Projects leads the planning and execution of live events, serving as a liaison between account managers and production teams to ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This role oversees all stages of production, provides leadership to cross-functional crews, manages on-site operations, and resolves issues in real time while maintaining exceptional client communication. The position is a hybrid role, with the majority of time dedicated to live event execution and the remainder focused on warehouse and operational responsibilities.
Project Manager - Regional Events
The Production Manager leads the planning and execution of live events, acting as the primary liaison between clients and the production team to ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This role oversees all phases of production, provides leadership to cross-functional crews, coordinates technical and logistical requirements, manages on-site operations, and resolves challenges in real time while maintaining exceptional client communication and delivering outstanding event experiences.
AV Technician - Regional Events
The Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for preparing, installing, operating, and dismantling professional audio, video, lighting, staging, and event technology systems for live events. Working closely with production teams and clients, this role ensures equipment is delivered safely, operates reliably, and meets the highest standards of quality and customer service. The AV Technician is a hands-on team player who is technically skilled, adaptable, and committed to creating exceptional event experiences while maintaining Soundbox’s standards of professionalism and excellence.
